Some intersections

Some streets I have crossed, I know some of the names, so I will write about them. In the brain I have mapped interesting places to see in them.

i.e. Francis street in Albany is a great street.

Posen, as well, which goes around Saint Mary’s College High School, which used to be hotel many years ago. To the south side of Saint Mary’s is Codornices creek, and crossing the bridge I think it was the house from Jose Domingo Peralta. He might have had two houses. I think the other one was across the Monterey market, but I am not sure of this second one.

Following Posen, and might be at the bend with Colusa one can see the a bit of Codornices creek.

Another thing I learned a few days is about this other tributary to Codornices comming from the North East, following Marin Street more or less, and then the sort of Hopkins direction. It joins Codornices around the North Branch of the Berkeley Public Library.

About intersections. Some streets I have passed by or noticed are Nelson, Curtis, Santa Fe, Talbot.

But let’s do now intersections with Rose. I do not know much about the intersections between San Pablo and Shattuck, with several exceptions particularly towards the east.

I have noticed Cornell, Curtis One also crosses the Green Oholone lane, and must be careful in Rose, because it is a dangerous crossing from the Cedar Rose Park.

I know Acton, but now I see is the one west of Sacramento. Sacramento is a main street or Avenue.

the thing is that there often small streets that create some confusion. Keoncrest Drive, is actually between Acton and Sacramento.

I know California street, because that it is the one of the Monterey market, although not a through street coming south to north.

There is one between California and Sacramento.

East of California is McGee. I also know that one and the Nursery is there.

Carlota will be the one west from the King’s park.

Grant is the one through the Middle school. Not a through street.

Josephine is the next one east. A dangerous street according to R.H. A person, pedestrian, hopefully not more has been atropellada by a car there.

The next one is MLK.

Everything is also easier to learn directly from people.

I more or less learned about the Eureka Valley. And that the streets, I think in that area of San Francisco are numbered and the crossings are with names in alphabetical order.
