Arrived about 20 minutes late to mass. It could have been few minutes less. Still it was terrible. The homily already has started. There is this thing of disconnecting from time. I need to wake up early tomorrow.

While I should have been more present on an exchange, it was not that bad.

But sometimes the brain has its twists that can not recall right away. Sometimes is great. Otherwise, it might take two steps. I received a reference to Ferrer. So, I asked if the person plays tennis, because I recalled David Ferrer, who was a friend of a friend. But the person was referring to remember my name thanks to Saint Vicente Ferrer. Silly thing. Was Saint Vicente Ferrer a Dominican. I think so. I won’t look up.

Well, then some geography is always useful. I am getting some map brain knowledge here from some information received.

Lakeport is in Lake County. Small town. Plenty of agriculture around, and wineries. It is on Clear Lake. At the South West is Sonoma. North West is Mendocino. Eel River is there. It is 30 minutes away from Ukiah. Until there, it was more or less correct info. Russian river is not there although that was a question. Insurance businesses of course also operate there as well. Now some maps or info would help.

Lake County is considered North California.

Lakeport is the County seat of Lake County.

About five thousand people live there. Wow!

Its county boundaries are Glenn County at the northeast, Colusa at the east; at the Southeast is Yolo (which is a central county), at the south is Napa, which is a Bay Area county. The other two I described.

The major rivers are Cache Creek, Eel River, Putah Creek, which has an great name.

Other key tributaries and creeks are Scotts Creek, Middle Creek, Kelsey Creek, Adobe Creek (interesting. There might be one around Palo Alto with the same name? I though that was the namesake of the company). And Bartlett Creek.
