Things to Organize

Berkeley, Wednesday, July 22, 2026 0:36 am

5 oz of beer in. There are plenty of things, particularly papers to organize at home.

Glad that mechanisms worked out and the front of the building looks better now.

It might have been too much in terms of requests though.

Quite often folks suffer from not doing things clearly of transparently, what it solve is fairness and/or the transparency of saying things.

Weight has increased quite a bit in a few days for staying at home, but also I bought, although, raw almonds and half walnuts in a bag. I have ran out of organization in my former routines to buy them weekly at the market. I must fix than soon.

Some other conversations have been superficial in a few weeks ago. Some of them very good.

Always, giving and friendship is caring about the other. Not satisfying one needs.

Some process are about to come.

Hopefully, they will work out. At least I am clear.

Being reading some pages of the annals of the former world, by John McPhee. Although, I am still in the introduction, or rather narrative table of contents.

Reconnecting to read things from the journal, which is a project might be here. At some point some posts will be deleted.

Left this side to check something in the news. Too bad, I shifted some focus. I skimmed an article that says that Japanese Prime Minister gets zero to three hours of sleep.

A Saint, Pedro de Alcantara, I believe, had that kind of schedule.

Received a few messages, replied an email.

Most of the news, I have printed. So, I will organize those. Including the reading material.

An error of checking a few things online: i.e. the football chant: Will Grigg’s on fire, your defense is terrified… Will Grigg’s on fire, your defense is terrified… na na na na na na nana nana na na na na na na na nana nana na. And he scores goals, and he score more and more. na etc… The football chant is adapted from the Gala song, free from desire. It was sang to a low key player from North Ireland, while playing in a, I believe “lower” division club? He made it to the North Irish national team nevertheless. The same chant was sang then 10 years in the Euro Cup.

I recall, now, while I was a kid I saw Greece win that cup. I recall watching that at the dinning table at my grand ma house after lunch on a sunday.

While cooking today, I listened, some watched, parts of the podcast after the whistle. I watched/listed to the summary of Le tour de France.

Poor Jonas Vinengegard (I am sorry I am not spell checking. Writing while I can from memory). He suffered a terrible fall yesterday. True, that is an essential part of this sport. Today, Litwez (This is name is really wrongly written) fell on the time trial. He is from the Red Bull team. Because of the name, he might be German. There is a soccer player with the similar last name.

This sounds terrible, and of course, unfortunately has happened to all of us, but somehow the chances of those accidents, make the race interesting as well. I get the lose of interest that might happen because the second best, after Pogacar, is gone: Jonas Vingegaard, who suffer a collarbone fracture. Where is the collarbone? Is that between the shoulder and neck?

The thing that those incidents might happen, which, might be in the past, before more safety regulations, and helmets, and hopefully memory will remain alive, because sometimes incidents are easy to forget, and then comes the additional risk taking. Those can be fatal incidents. But the point I was making is that while you expect the best to compete with whom is in front, that person might suffer and incident which might cause his abandonment, not the best way to gain a position, but it is also a fair part of that sport.

Man City team mates sang to Rodri, the same chant Rodri is on fire, after they won the Champions League in 2023 against Inter de Milan.

Rodri played Gala song in the presentation of the world cup trophy in Spain this past Monday.

Antonelli won the Spa grand prix in Belgium. I did not watched highlights about that, but I skimmed the news.

I have found interesting the focus on making rankings of everything. Those are mainly subjective, i.e. best match things like that. Also they are not that meaningful, as the actual fact of wining the thing. Same for official rankings. Probably, from sports I know a bit, the tennis ranking would be the most meaningful. And still, wining the actual tournaments, which leads to that ranking, are the most memorable thing.
