Feast of Saint Mary Magdalen. I might know a few like her.

An example of life, but once the commitment is there really needs to carry on.

It really sucks when people is not fully transparent.

OK. I arrived from the Doe library a few minutes ago. During summer, it closes at 9 PM, which is actually a good routine.

We received an email notice in the building to have quiet hours after 10 pm. That is working great. So, that works for me for setting up all those tables on the window to block the flood lights and street lights.

Also, there is noise coming from downstairs somehow that is not disrupting as the one I usually have had close to the ear.

The problem with the oak table of 1/4 inch of thickness, is that it releases astillas (splinters?) I am not checking a dictionary now, and also releases ¨acerrin”.

Somehow, each time I place the tables to cover the windows, I ended up with some eye pain. So something might be jumping in. Regardless, Good routine to do all that set up by 10 pm. I understand the issue or how annoying would be for the downstairs neighbors to hear footsteps and the wood set up on the windows, and moving one desk late in the evening.

I have might be 3 in of beer in, and 4 in of wine in the process, while writing.

I will walk to Andronicos soon. I did not distributed well the groceries expenses, at least no as strategic as i usually do, between the two cards for that purpose. I should use some glass eye protectors when setting up the splinter releasing wood.

I haven’t gone in a while to the Monterey market. Not necessarily schedule, although is a big part of it. Some of this is related with planning.

Made a few progress today. Feels productive. More connected to self, and with several things. Read a bit of the book Under the Glacier by Haldor Laxness from Iceland. Read a bit, and mainly listen to the book The Basque of the World by Mark Kulansky.

I listened a bit to David K. Shipler, and I think I read a bit from the book from John McPhee, Annals of the Former World.

Read, and listen to bunch of New York Times article, and mainly navigated to the scholar publications, magazines, and some process I have to do.

My eye is hurting. I hope, if something happened is not too bad.

But it is not sustainable to do that dealing with the wood, which of course with it will release some splinter when hitting the upper part of the window frame.

I wasted time, when I woke on catching up with the Le Tour results. Folks at Cope, which I also listened for few minutes, have a point about that if the 2 am testing to Vinegard, who crashed the day after and broke his collarbone in the crash, things from that sport, were needed, why the dope testing results have not been published yet.

All the drama about that interference in the tour, and noise, might attract more attention than the race itself. Now the mountains come. Three mountain stages in a row. Today, the Belgian cyclist Phillipsen (I am not checking google for this apologizes for the misspellings) won the stage. He is an specialist on the points jersey, the guys with big quadreps to sprint? I bet that is the equation, plus other aspects, but the road cycling tour of three weeks, which is killing for many, have unique specialities. Philipsen was well lead by Matthew Van del Paul. They bet (I say they, because the team mate domestique or gregario plays an important role on this). They bet Pedersen, who is leading the points jersey by about 7 points. It could be an intersting finish at Paris, also depenidng if they collect sprinting points in the next three days. But the next three days the intermediate sprint, i think are located after the first climb. The interesting thing is that sprinter has a lot of power, but they can not climb. So, they save energy, or who knows why they ride way far back when the climbing stages and parts come. So, I do know if they will aim to get intermediate sprinting points before the Paris race. That is intersting.

I hope the best for Pogacar in the next three stages and for Evanpopel, of course for Carapaz as well.

Those who care, will keep asking for those test.

Meanwhile, Lance Armstrong have a podcast with other three members, from who I can identify at least one former tour winer, who is from the UK and has his own problems after wining. It would be interesting to listening to them. Of course, both, and particularly Armstrong is qualified to narrative, comment, have opinions about the tour. I wish time would allow, but that is a distraction.

Javier Ares podcast is one of the best, but also time does not allow to listen him.

So, I listening a bit to Cadena Deportiva from Ser around the time of the finish. They have two former riders as commentators. And in the studio set, I think, they have two good narrators. It is interesting how Spain cares about several sports.

I learned a bit of the football exportation from the British to Spain. It first happened either at Vigo or in Huelva.

Things usually start from small roots, but they need to be well done. Then they attract investment and gigants. And also then the punks move to the next underground thing. Few of them become sampling and then somehow forest. Might be some people by nature just like to operate in small scales, and produce plenty.

I think one of the important things is to stay active and somehow give, but be wise and prudent. I am running out of time for one of the market, but I think I can still make it by foot.
