I ended writing here a few things.

A few things. In the past, I posted here once the day was completed, and I had a least written quite a bit. I should avoid checking parts of this website. If someone reads, thanks for reading it. At several times, it meant to be reflection page. I have written for about 9 months novenas. While it has been great, time, attention, absorption of new material, keeping up with reading, writing, is affected if I do multiple things. I might place a halt to the novenas.

I might have written about this. I have learned a bit more about the mayas. There are several in the East Bay. Many of them speak mam. But someone from Yucatan told me that mam is a variation of Yucatec. The first Mayas were from Yucatan.

I do not recall the word first, etc. In an analogy, it is highly believe that the incas or quechuas came from Titicaca. I visited some years ago Tiahuanacu. Then they expanded towards the north mainly. Made a civilization with its capital in Cuzco, the Tahuantinsuyo. From there expanded north and south. Of course, there are different dialects from quechua. For instance, the kichua-cañari has a unique accent. The incas conquered Guapondolig, Cañaribamba. They conquered the incas. Then cañaris were dispersed as slaves in several parts of the empire, including Cuzco, might Cajamarca. I do not know other places for sure. But in Cuzco, I believe the Cañari neighborhood is in Santa Ana.

I may forgot to mention, but I see a confusion of X in a prior discussion. I see a Presbyterian Church, Saint John’s in College ave, just south of Newman. It has a sign on it, which highlights the Maybeck Name. The reason is because it seems that Maybeck High School is there as well. But I do not think the church was designed by Bernard Maybeck. Although, his ideas and models might have inspiring its design. The church looks quite beautiful. And, particularly, his life inspired the high school name, by its founder: Stan Cardinet.

Sometime ago, I learned that Peter Seeger was born in Maybeck designed house. The Seeger house. I love that street. Since, around Spring 2021, I usually pass by, depending on the length of my high. And I am a huge admirer of Peter Seeger. 70 miles of wind and spray, seventy of water… Seventy miles of open bay… It’s garbage dump.. What’s that’s stinky creek out there, Down behind the slum’s back stair… Listen to his song, 70 miles. A huge activist, defender of the Bay, that song was written to protect the filling of the San Francisco Bay. I might understand more his daily view of the landscape.

*If we was not born in that house. His family moved there when he was still a child. I would need to learn more.

But the idea was not to write much in here.
