This post corresponds to Saturday, September 15, 2018

I had an active weekend. I reached some relief after pushing some nights of short sleep for hitting a deadline on Friday. Without too much planning, we ended up celebrating it with Jian, with live music and less than a glass of wine.

I told her a summary of my autobiography.

I have added new habits to my life. This blog and recently social media, to share views, pictures, or stories, which can be nice to recall at some time.

I am, still, adjusting them to my schedule, with a philosophy to reply messages, immediately after I see them, if they deserve a reply. I am still defining the times, when I should check social media, which is about twice per day, outside of the times of posting. In theory, this should not take more than 20 minutes per day. We will see how it goes.

I am, still, testing my theory, regarding social media, and likely expanded to other fields, that being active save much more time.

I have been speaking my mind in posts. Will see how it goes.

So far, I feel that I have not wasted time, and that it has not affected my concentration or isolated me to stay connected with my activities. Rather, I have been more connected with several activities over the last weeks.

Regarding the blog. I am committed to post every day, though there can be some days, that I could not fit this on the day. Then, I will catch up, as I am doing today. So, today, there might more than one post, if the schedule works.

I ended up with a quote of commitment to any activity that I have involved, which I learned from my training as firefighter, and which has ties as well with the Catholic doctrine, at least in the first part:

Self-denial and discipline
