Weight

Sometimes one receives loads of things to listen. While that can be healing for a person, one also should be aware if there are any repercussion to the person receiving the loads.

We somehow, either consciously or particularly unconsciously are fed with the things we consume. That just me realize of, probably, other meanings or uses of the feds.

Bishop Barron, who I have not listen to in about ten months or so, has an interesting homily on this topic for this upcoming Sunday mass. I am not commenting on it now, because I might have listen only half of it so far. About 6 minutes out of 12 or so. He, and his publishing company, are quite systematic of design the times of the sermons.

Systematic, and/or consistent is a key thing in the industrial United States. Not a critic, rather in any context, consistency builds trust. Though, one should be ready to adapt to the debates, and assess the self, as well as evaluate other points of view.

I had 6 ounces of a ~6.4 % of alcohol, Des Chutes beer, with late diner, where I ate calf or beef liver. OK. Some self flagellation with words. Consistency of a half drink at diner is stupid. I tried for a bit around 2024 and 2024, and I could connect some of the causations. Boundaries are essential. Even, if I have drank much more than that in some occasions in the late teenager years early twenties, over time, one learn and see in older adults, at least at that time, the terrible thing that alcohol does. But still, a beer or wine is ok, but not every day. That could be cancerogenic, bad for the liver, and bad for the brain. It also affects the sleep. Although, in my case, the sleep, could have been related with the place, a concussion, and working too long in front of screens, and shifting a bit to video watching, which is also terrible for the brain, if there is not critical thinking or analysis attached to it.

The apartment temperature decreases dramatically might be at almost outside temperature levels? I have seen a 40ish at some point in the winter. I did not turn on the gas heather the first year. A friend from Cuenca, died while studying in Argentinca. He put the gas stove on as a heather. It seems that somehow the burner was not burining. He quietly passed away of gas intoxication or asphyxiation, or any name that it is. I do not look up online, for corrections, except in a few case, while typing here. My understanding of a gas leak it is that it takes the place of the oxygen in a room, so one does not have a oxygen to breath in. That might be how it works. Need to look into more details of the physics.

Somehow in February, most likely third wee of march, I think, it was the correct date, I and other 10 folks, were exposed to a similar situation, thankfully in a large ballroom, with some ventilation, but still with a leak from kitchen conencted to the place. I do not understand how we stayed for about more than an hour in such a situation, which thankfully was solved.

My left calf is hurting. It might be related with long time cold exposure. I do turn on the heater though, or will eventually with a temperature around 62 Fahrenheit.

Need to do that.

In this case is the left calf, which is in that situation. But 3 years ago, around this time, I ran 6 miles or barefoot in sand, which was great. But a week after or two weeks after, I did not warm up well for playing tennis, and rather was trying to keep all balls that were sent even off the court, keeping in the court. My achilles tendon tore. The right one.

There is something about cold temperature and blood circulation. I should talk with people who live on the streets and how their muscles and tendons are doing.

Weight increased quite a bit, with near or about all time highs. So that would be something to look at. The beer is part of the equation. I hope everything is fine. But also the sleep, and the decrease of about 2 miles cycling per day, with one of those being uphill.

Writing is going a bit better.

I just can’t believe how stupid I was in around mid June and July, to be distracted with some videos and interviews, which were not that relevant. It was a literal scape of more important things. But it has happened another times in my life, might be one of the most recents was around early 2023.

I found and cook, bounding noir or blood sausage or morcilla, and calf or beef liver, at the fatted calf in San Francisco. It is usually not too much out of my weight, so I might keep doing time by time. The bounding noir was good, and so the calf liver. Those are great sources of B12.

Folks say that whisky or red wine is good for the heart. Who knows? I might read about that. Of course, cardio is better.

Will do a short hike, already planned, early afternoon tomorrow.
