Some thoughts from a bit of off-track time

Not a so productive day. But I had to complete, something, which I delivered.

I guess I am writing in here to account the wrongdoings, and distractions.

And I still need to do plenty of reading.

I also must organize the place, the desk, and keep on going with other stuff.

Well, I minor break. Machengo cheese is so good.

I was stupid on not following an organized plan this evening, might be after 8 pm.

Still, I pushed a few tasks, and completed those through.

That was something important for next year.

I also updated one of the online CVs. Of course, I knew that was important since the past. At some point I closed all of that. It happens. I am reconstructing it. It would take a few days.

Not good to do things that one is not fully sure. I am recalling a brief, email exchange, might be on this topic from around late November 2025 or early December that year.

Terrible thing to not make a bit of progress on the main paper everyday. But I did it. I did it yesterday. I did it today. Things happens in blocks. I must understand however how do I manage a few specific things.

Make a pause, looked at the window, the long commuting is something that I think is not good for health and for the brain on a daily basis.

Ate two or three watery blueberries during the break. I learned a few weeks ago that they are off seasons. Probably this is the taste after saving them?

That make thing as well on the dehydrated product, which is also good. Man, so limited on producing those detail at farm. Urban life, might not necessarily disconnect one from those. Even more in urban areas there are butchers, fruit markets, so one can learn a bit more with the right questions. But the field provide those key instincts and senses.

Would see regarding commuting changes.

In the distractions, the major error was to open youtube.

I probably ended up there, after typing trail rated. I had that on the left side of a vehicle, which first time I saw I has a small dent now. Now sure if someone tried to pull that.

In any case, the youtube short videos, there are funny things, but extremely time consuming. So idiot!

Because it was so much information, I can write about it, but there are not strong connections, because those are random videos.

There might be an italian family who do pranks, other videos or several related to soccer, other about the jeep off-road. I watched a video of some folks cycling up the steepest hills in San Francisco. Then they went to Marin to clim the Christmas tree hill. And things like that.

This afternoon, while cooking, I started watching a video interview, where Ross Douthat interviewed Peter Thiel. It is from about June 2025. I am so glad, that I was really focused during those times, with a few exceptions. Oh, some few exceptions.

It will take some days if I finished listened the interview. It was also interesting to watch probably a space of the video I watched from 60% towards the end to around 80%. The body language was a bit uncomfortable from both of them during that reach at least.

Thiel talked a bit of the antichrist. I have not listened the whole thing. I think he blamed environmentalist, and actors such as Greta Thunberg.

He blame big political organizations who try to stop development.

He said in the 60s, the hippies and Woodstock won against the mechanical development of, for instance bringing a man to the moon, which happened a few days before Woodstock.

But the Lord said it would be easier, and this to put things in perspective, and for those who criticize how people dress, Thiel was dressing quite moderate in the interview. The Lord said it is easier for a camel to get through a needle eye than to a rich man to get into heaven. This to place things into perspective. Not a critic, I hope.

But a true scary feeling is all the development and machinery thinking, trying to justify to build more power, which we have evidence through history, but in recent history about less than 100 years ago.
