Problems

It is quite late already. On campus. I will write the title at the end.

I will write a title at the end. This might be a list of topics.

There is this thing when some of almost all friends are not at the same stage of doing things, although most of the things are a mea culpa, due to schedule and pressure, when one has to focus on solving some things, but keeping the pressure.

Consistent habits, when things are clear, are better to offer realistic deadlines.

An article is finally out, after a confusion which took about 10 to 14 days to solve.

A beer for the article, but also there was some oddity on the eating, first time in years, not necessarily on the sleeping, but first time of skipping a few days of activity. Probably the pressure of the deadline. I got two hours of walking now.

For hundred of years, until no so long ago, i.e. until about 150 years ago or so, it was safer to drink beer than some water. This is a loose fact of course.

This is of course a generality, but time by time, some alcohol, has some medical purposes. Of course, the dose is up to a drink or even two on a day. Otherwise, it is intoxication.

Offices, places with only fluorescent light alter sleeping habits.

Distractions have matters in self criticism. When doing chores at home, it helps sometimes to listen either to match, or to the tour de France, or an audiobook, or the news, or depending the case or question to learn to listen to a podcast.

It takes longer then to check something else about the news. Or actually, sit to watch a part of a match.

Good for Argentina.

One can see on the players eyes and attitude, the commitment and will to win. The team might need to have that common goal, and that is a complicated thing to achieve. Both finalists have it, definitely. Probably, all the teams have it at times. The thing is to meet that on the moment.

I have caught up with plenty of the daily reading. Expanded to read some opinion articles.

Organized the place. But true, I succumbed to watch a bit of the interview and analysis.

A few days ago, I learned from A. that the grandfather (?) of Steinbeck settled in Palestine (later Israel). Then he moved to California. Is that part of the book east of Eden? A. mentioned another book.

On some searches, I learned that a form of tennis, which name comes from the French tenez?, dates back to an indoor area in medieval times. It seems that a form of the sport is know around the 1200s? Might be, if my memory works with the quick skim, in the 1700s, was the first world championship. It is the sport to first organize a world championship? This is outside of what I read a night ago in wikipedia, but by world championship, I assume the mere categories such as the Association Football World Cup, or the world championship in cycling, or the field and track world series / championship (?). Those are different than the olympics, which brings all several sports in a compact form. I haven’t check since when the Olympics in its current format started.

There was a funny video, although poor grandpa, as it is called in the video, and funny in the spirits of everyone. He suffered an attack of a bison in Yellowstone (?) Park. The impactful thing is too see how the bison sent him flying on the air. Fortunately, he is not that bad, but he broke his femur. His grandson is fine. The professional photographer who made the video ran to distract the bison after the incident. The incident happened because no one expected that the bison was going to attack the granpa / and potentially his grandson, who were 50 to 100 yards away (?). The camera man filming the bison on the opposite of the event, behind the bison.

Sunlight is good and needed for melatonine, but also the UV rays are good for cleaning anything in our bodies.

After listening the tour, I learned a bit more about France physical geography. I think stage 10 (?) was in the central masttif. Carapaz did a good try. A good descend before the second last climb, but the main climb. But Pogacar’s pace, and from many others resulted too much to him. But he scored good mountain points for the polk dot (?) jersey?.

I learned a bit about the government in France in 1940s. I read / skimmed a speech from Winston Church on July 1940. I learned also a bit about Germany and the commander of the time. I mentioned France because the tour on stage 11, I think, went to Vichy, were a supporter, and French commander of the time, became a supporter of the Nazi government. He governed France in the 1940s, if I recall well.

I read a bit about the Basque. Also, listened a brief story, minimal checking, this was by Latif in La Delantera, about the Borbons (?). French, Kings of Spain. I read quickly about Clovis I. I think he converted to Catholicism, or Nicea Christianity (?)

Well, there plenty of things. I will get into the writing rhythm. Now other 45 minutes to walk.
