יְחֶזְקֵאל
Well, I stayed at home for quite a bit this morning. Cooked, and caught up with some reading, and finally I am about to leave.
First time, in a long time, that I skipped three days of continues evening reading. Rather, some fottball videos, brief interviews, and today checked the great performance of the Ecuadorian cyclist in Switzerland: Narvaez and Carapaz. I can connect a bit with that sport. But spending any time or something that is not necessarily building my routine might be a waste of time. Might be not for the cycling, because I actually practice that on a daily basis. But there is always a question mark if someone is not investing well the given time.
A few times those can be a escape. Probably, that is for another post. Might be at the office or later. But one key thing is to being able to put clear boundaries in situations. It is always tricky, because not everything is planned as one can see. Otherwise one would play a god role. However, without clear boundaries, interruptions or actions which can eat one’s time are more vulnerable to happen. That is one benefit of the schedule time, in person work. Messages can be always seen as a invasion of the own space, depending of the demands of attention and topic of a text. Those things are sometimes helpful with schedule time.
I reflected on something. I learned something.
Back to the Tanakh and Ezekiel. I continue with this complain of not having organized well the bedroom, neither the curtains, and broke one of my rules by bringing the cellphone to the bedroom, then falling asleep in disgraceful unrestful position, place, and lights. And skipping a few of my committed routinely habits, which are beyond me.
Despite, I do not think I am grasping the daily reading of Ezekiel. I might be reading too many things, having too things, not focusing on it while I read. I believe I am on chapter 21 now, I am not checking the book right now. I can recall his narrative and conversations to God, and/or with the angels which approach is interesting: Oh Mortal….
Ezekiel was asked to often bring cautiously news to the Jews, and also to preach punishment tales. He was asked to condemn and correct to those who were doing wrong or evil, and if not he was also to be punished if did not speak for complicity.
I recall an archangel appeared to him having four faces, one on each site and having wheels. This is what I recall, but it have been 21 chapters. It is like it brush off my mind. More to come. And I might add as I read another batch at the evenings.
