Caput is a latin word, which means headland, head, and likely is the basis for other words I will type below. It is based on the Proto-Indo-European word *kaput-. [1]

Cabo Verde: Island country in the Atlantic Ocean, in from, more or less from the Senegal coast. Although far from its coast.

Cabo San Lucas, a city in Mexico in Baja California.

Cabo San Antonio: Argentina, Cuba, and Spain. Same name of three places in those different countries.

Cape Peninsula: It is in South Africa. Cape Town is in the Peninsula, but also in the south of the Peninsula are Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. [2]
