Vocations

Great Saints in history, such as Saint Francis, or Saint Anthony of Padua, or Saint Augustin, or Saint Thomas Aquinas, to name a few, I believe have come from families with economic resources, or probably with some privileges in societies.

While not all of can be placed on the same category, for instance, Saint Monica, mother of Saint Augustin, have the reasons to be a Saint, which I will look up, and probably is related to teaching and correcting his son, and working with him, and accepting his errors.

I believe that Saint Francis renounced to the family inheritance and to a likely banker career. One question, would why did he lived in poverty?

He allow himself to be an instrument of God, and to live beyond the human lifespan expectations.

Regardless, the individuality, it also means renounce to your own goals and let it be.

Now, I understand a few things better.

I also think that a correction path is also beyond the self.
