Accounting of today

Berkeley, Tuesday, March 28, 2023 11:30 PM

I went to DMV this afternoon. I made progress in renewing my license. I would go back next week. My actual goal was to complete the process today, but I went there at 4:05 PM. I will read and get some sleep soon to not make the same mistake.

I got a lot groceries at Berkeley Bowl. Big thanks to my next door neighbor who helped me a lot doing groceries for me while I recovered from my achilles tendon rupture during the fall.

I might have some guesses of what happened with the relationship to my neighbor but that is broken. Why?

After organizing the groceries. I hiked. Though it was a cloudy day, I was curios to see the aligning of five planets or so. I saw that from a park on the hills. While I was about to come back, because a dark rainy cloud was approaching from San Francisco, there was a clear opening gap between the clouds. Great view of the sky. Unfortunately I do not which planet was which, and I do not know the stars’ names, beyond the sun. I probably know a couple of galaxies’ names. I really love earth and planetary sciences, and physical sciences in general, I must improve my knowledge of the sky, as well as my botanical knowledge. I know some of the plants and trees names which I see on my hikes. I admire them. I must know better.

The recent bomb cyclone, what a name, unroot at least tree, which I saw during mid-length hike to the hills. One of those a gigantic redwood. The thing is that this time was more critical, because some houses were affected, likewise power lines and roads. Social aspect aside, which can be a planning, beyond bad luck issue, it is a beautiful spectacle to observe either a gigantic redwood or an eucalyptus or any tree unrooted.

I listened a bit of powerful music. Watched for les than five minutes things related to the kings league. I will abstain to those king of distractions though they are enjoyable.

Organized a bit my place. Taking some trash out, making the bed, etc…

Time to read and then to sleep. I plan to do plenty of writing tomorrow.
