Amen seems to trace its roots to Hebrew. The word it was taken directly then to Greek, then to Latin, and so on to all languages.
I barely know something about the topic yet. It is in my curiosity of what is the correct pronunciation to it, if we have adopted the exact word from other languages, why would one change its phonetical sound?
