On Writing Well

This is dedicated to the times, thankfully, in recent times, but not so few at other times, invested on a video.

Regardless the wrongs of a video, which also have some benefits, this is dedicated to the importance of writing full sentences. Quiet time to dive deeper on reading. The practice of reading and writing in a clear detail situations until the brain reach clarity.

I mean, one does not achieve the results from a math equation or rather does not learn the concept by looking at it.

Language is definitely more difficult than math. Might because the truth is not tell. Might be because the interlocutor does not want to say the things. Might be because of a few discapacities. Might be of lack of listening, or reading, or understanding. Or might be because of confusion.

Clearly, too much information might become a problem when process something.

When someone shares you a video. One might get into that routine. But we are influence also by spaces in which we live. There is the component of learning to speak and getting used to a new accent, which listening definitely helps.

However, at times the lack of structure of conveying information, might generate the conversation, which can jump into different directions, or focus on a specific detail, rather than the whole picture.

I am against videos and TV. But, at times, likely of acceptance or influence of enviroment I have felt on those. It is not completely wrong, unless that one is active. That was a problem during a specific time.

It was a time where searching for silent space was a bit complicated. Then, it became complciated to get rid of a new unsual habit.

A few times I have seen reels, and post. Depending how one mind is working. One can assess those critically. But if one is on a roll of reading, and so, and recently expose to those. They might have a negative influence on one. Because of the routine of one of absorbing information. It happened once to me.

So, I guess, it is important to be attentive and understand the process of good and bad on what one is doing.

However, then comes the topic, which likely include videos and podcasts. Conversation is the natural form of communicate for persons. Likely, then we developed the writing characters. So, I do agree that is important to absorb information from those videos and podcast. They are natural forms of conversation. The problem of course is that there is not time for everything. So, it is much better to have those things in person, or live interactive conversation. It has been usually my case, in large portion of occasions.

Anyways, that is not the point.

The point is that not everyone is a scribe. But I believe that even with the digital media, with all that artificial intelligence could generate, with all the stupid distractions, and talking propaganda. Our civilization will continue building, might be, on clear scribes foundation, which tell transparently the truth, even the language is in newer ones, such as programming commands.

I still believe that language is more difficult than math. And the reassuring aspect of math is that we can find truth, by studying the problem.

Reparations, when someone by actions break our direct language? Keep learning the language. Understanding the right and wrong. Not imposing the thinking one might understand as true as the moment. Truth is objective. It can be evident. But it is also good to find it.

It is an OK post. I did not intent to make it long. But I really wanted to share the short article below.

I was also not too familiar with The Catholic Thing magazine. Regardless, it is an interesting article.

But I am not feeling too confident of the truths telling above, and regarding more steps to take.
