OK. A few comments here.
This will be a ongoing document, as several of the recent post. I still need to stay in control of the main duties of the day. Thus, writing in here is always a matter of discernment of doing or not.
Second, there are several layers on what I write. Thus not necessary every detail is shared, but a topic. I will see how I proceed to the analysis.
Might be doing this is a way of prayer. The other side of the coin is of course that prayer is private and with the door shut. This also regarding the title.
Galatians
Today, it was mentioned to me the letter of Saint Paul to the Galatians. I will get to that. Likely, it was mentioned the virtues and vices explained in Galatians 5.
Ok. I opened up Galatians. Online though. Moving through the chapters, I just found fascinated and as the same time hilarious. And I loved how Saint Paul addressed to the Galatians: “O stupid Galatians!” Who write like that? The giant Saint Paul. This is great, and people complain regarding ways of addressing them even with softer tones.
I also can see in 1 Samuel, Hannah’s prayer. I see that the priest Eli told Hannah to sober up and not do an spectacle of herself. But she was just praying moving her lips, she was not drunk. Some time ago, I thought it was Elijah the in this scene, but I was wrong. It was the Priest Eli. Hopefully, always one can be humble enough and pay more attention to absorb more and to learn more.
Anyways, it seems that I was told to see the fruit of the Spirit, which are (i) love, (ii) joy, (iii) peace, (iv) patience, (v) kindness, (vi) generosity, (vii) faithfulness, (viii) gentleness, (ix) control.
Acting Person
Saint Karol Wojtyla, Pope John Paul II wrote a book named the Acting Person. I have not read the book yet, except for four pages, which is nothing. Although, it has been on my bookshelf for about 5 years and a half. Well, then I can go with generalities or specifics as well learned from word of mouth and an article. We become our actions. I can add, that we might also be what we practice, we eat, we read. I guess those are also actions. The point is to be wise, not afraid. But back to Galatians 5… Ok. More reflections. Direction is an interesting title. It implies help with a location or a route. So it is always good to have a map.
Ok. Nothing else in the specifics to the reading. But also, one can have a plan, a goal, and need to practice that one to growth on it. Little by little. But I would say guided by the Holy Spirit. At the end one prays to the Lord to guide oneself so His will will be Done.
I see I wrote a post, which I do not recall. I am surprised it was from last summer. In my memory I recall writing something about the acting man in 2020. But I could not find it. So, either I wrote a draft, and did not published. I found the draft in Summer and added a few details. Or whatever had happened, that is also what happens with writing. The brain clears. It might conserve a few things, but now the idea is created. There is a good article, at the bottom of the page of the post linked below. I believe it was written by Bishop Barrow in 2011.
We are also our actions. Of course. I can say we are our words, our thoughts, and particularly our actions. But we are all of them. But we are not static. So one grows into perfection with God’s grace. Is a Pope infallible? Learn also about all of that. So much to learn, to live.
