Breviary

Something to learn more about, in terms of background. One of the references is below:

https://www.newadvent.org/cathen/02768b.htm [Excellent Catholic Encyclopedia. Here to link to read. I just skimmed it through]

Other references:

https://ibreviary.com/m2/breviario.php [Best online source for praying the liturgy of the hours]

https://catholic-resources.org/LoH/

https://grace.gtu.edu/search/X?+General+instruction+of+the+Liturgy+of+the+hours&SORT=DX [Consult those books at the GTU library. Most likely the only below]

https://grace.gtu.edu/search?/X+General+instruction+of+the+Liturgy+of+the+hours&SORT=DX/X+General+instruction+of+the+Liturgy+of+the+hours&SORT=DX&SUBKEY=+General+instruction+of+the+Liturgy+of+the+hours/1%2C4%2C4%2CB/frameset&FF=X+General+instruction+of+the+Liturgy+of+the+hours&SORT=DX&1%2C1%2C

https://www.wordonfire.org/pray/ [I have not consulted this source, but I found it in one of notes, in a google doc]

https://www.saintmeinrad.edu/sacred-music/church-documents/

Of course, one question is why to post those links here without a content, or justify the reason of posting them.

I wanted to learn the origins of the word breviary in this context. So, the source for consulting that is the New Advent Encyclopedia. Then, I just added my references, where I recalled in another place. I might consult those at some point. Or at least one of the books from the GTU.
