A brief note, which would work for my memory, and for the joy of learning a different, yet similar colloquialism to describe a sound produced by the the articulaciones or joints of our body. I am not sure if it is produced by ligaments, etc, but there is sometimes a click sounds from our joints.
Yesterday, I learned that in Peru, or particularly in either Lima or Callao, that sounds is described as “te salió un conejo”.
I believe it is beautiful, because in Cuenca, Ecuador we call that colloquialism as “Te Salió Un Cuy”.
Here, it is something else to learn about its origins, when the opportunity rises.
I might see the sense regarding the sound and the crispy sound of breaking a piece or a leg of a roasted guinea pig. But that it is mere speculation about the origins. So, I would need to learn about it, and why the similar sentence, but with two different animals.
