I come a bit unprepared to this novena, which I will start today.
Although, I know from the scriptures the story of Saint John the Baptist parents’ Saint Zachary and St. Elizabeth.
Add citations from bible.
At what age Elizabeth conceived John? And how old was Zachary then?
It came to my mind how the head of Saint John was cut.
Saint John the Baptist has been a quite stalling figure in our history. If stalling is not the right word. He has been a great example. Thank you for preparing the way.
And often is heartwarming to remember one’s parents.
Feast day: November 5th.
I am placing links here. I will review them at some point. The goal is to get to a novena guideline. Writing one is not out of the question. But probably there are more people qualified for that.
Structure (Brainstorming) I might be wrong:
Sign of the cross.
Repent of sins.
Praise to the Lord.
Invoque the angels, and the Saint.
Lord’s Prayer. Hail Mary. Glory.
Meditation with a reading of the Saint(s) or about the Saint(s).
Prayer for intention.
Litany.
that is the potential structure. I need to add the time component in that structure. A 15 minute session would be ideal. It can be 10 minute as well.
One should pray the rosary as well on a daily basis.
The total time on the day might be at least one hour. The Lord, Jesus, said to Peter, James, and John, I believe, in the Olive Mount, can you not pray one hour with me?

I think I have found one structured novena.
But now the search query is for Parishes where Saint Zachary and Saint Elizabeth are patron saints. Usually, then one could find a novena or more detailed information.
Searching in Italian now.
