I normally have been very good about eating portions. Particularly since around 2008. But probably even beyond that time.
It is also nice to hang out with other folks.
The issue was that today, people who know me at one eating place gave 1.5 times the normal eating size. The other issue is that I was hungry enough that I continued eating.
And it was not that I was fully full afterwards, but I had to take a nap.
I wanted to do some work this evening on campus. So I was assessing eating nearby. I did not cook because I left home for groceries before 8 AM. Came back for a quick breakfast. Arrived to my first meeting on campus at 9.10 am.
The original idea was to get a soup. We went to a restaurant. The lady served the soup. An instead of three options for the main entry gave a dish full of four options. I ate them all. At first I thought I was going to taken to go. We had good conversation with my friend.
I guess I would need to watch the weight now. But also my scale is not functional anymore. Who knows what will happen.
I put this slightly on the positive 80% of a good decision. But I might need to lose weight in ten days. Would see.
