Any mammal, reptiles, birds defecate.
Might birds from observations are the hidden ones, and it seems sometimes they use that as a tool? I mean it can be few the cases, but sometimes they do that on the fly. I have read someone arguing that is a target one.
Humans, the number two, is a very private one, which have managed to send it through pipes and culverts.
The poop from cattle end up in the streams? Yes. Probably same as dogs etc.
