Penalties for late work

Berkeley, Thursday, April 10, 2025 12:45 Pm

I will start from what I know about late work:

The Workers in the Vineyard. Mt 20: 1-15. This says that someone who arrives late to the work can also get the same payment.

Leviticus 19:13. Talks rather about paying as soon as possible. Not withholding overnight wages. One need to pay the grades or fees or salary as soon as possible.

Deuteronomy 24:14-15 “You shall not exploit a poor and needy hired servant, whether one of your own kindred or one of the resident aliens who live in your land, within your gates each day you shall pay the servant’s wages before the sun goes down, since the servant is poor and is counting on them. Otherwise the servant will cry to the LORD against you, and you will be held guilty.”

This writing of so many years ago is also so true, but do not clarify about late fees.

Or a penalty for submitting late work. How am I going to find that out.

I guest by a matter of extensions, but there is ambiguity as well in this.
